Brentford Dock Data Protection Act Breach

Brentford Dock Data Protection Act Breach:  A serious Data Protection Act (“DPA”) breach of personal data by Brentford Dock Ltd (“BDL”) was discovered by the victims of crime (Brentford Dock residents) in a court of law during questioning by the defendant’s Barrister.  The defendant in the case was found guilty of racially aggravated harassment and harassment. These crimes were carried out on Brentford Dock.  The defendant’s sentence also included an indefinite restraining order, which according to the BDL board “isn’t really important”.

The private and confidential data (in the Brentford Dock Data Protection Breach) was obtained from BDL and was compiled by Michael Richards & Company/Michael Richards & Co. (“MR&Co”) Brentford Dock’s managing agent and whose office manager is John Antrobus.  This data was signed off for release to the defendant (and his family) by Veronica Wray (paid Chair of BDL).  The Julius and Marcus Courts block director (Gary Seager (“GRS”, Gary Robert Seager)) during the period of antisocial behaviour leading up to the court case also possessed and had access to the data which was disclosed to the victims in court.

MR&Co is the data processor for BDL and the victims have been informed that John Antrobus is the registered data processor for the Brentford Dock office.  BDL being data controllers are fully responsible for the handling of data by Michael Richards and, at present, data processors bear no responsibility of such breaches.  The liability for all data falls to the data controllers, which was a shock to discover as this could potentially leave the process open to abuse.

BDL committed this data protection act breach with the knowledge that the Police were investigating the matter; both companies were fully informed of the acts committed against the victims, by the convicted party and his gang.  Furthermore, both BDL and MR&Co were informed of the defendant’s arrest and the date of the court case in writing prior to the release of the sensitive confidential data to the defendant and his family.

Had this matter not gone to court, the victims of crime would most likely never have discovered this breach of confidentiality.

The breach of confidentiality was brought to the attention of BDL immediately after the court case had finished by the victims, who have since sought to find out the truth behind this illegal release of confidential data and breach of the data protection act.

BDL (via Veronica Wray) and MR&Co. (via Adam Goldwater, Michael Richards & Company’s owner) subsequently wrote separate letters on behalf of the respective companies admitting to the illegal Brentford Dock Data Protection Act breach.

A complaint was subsequently made to the Information Commissioner’s Office (“ICO”) by the victims and this serious data breach was acknowledged and confirmed by the ICO.  BDL should have reported the data breach to the ICO themselves as soon as they were made aware – they did not.

The ICO concluded:

“On the basis of the information provided by you and Brentford Dock Limited, we have decided that it is unlikely that Brentford Dock Limited has complied with the requirements of the DPA in this case.

This is because Brentford Dock Limited has disclosed your personal information.”

The victims had been informed by a BDL director that Veronica Wray the BDL chairman had not informed the board of the complaint (Brentford Dock Data Protection Act Breach) made to the ICO or of BDL’s response to it until after the ICO’s conclusions.

BDL subsequently (after meetings with Patricia (Pat) Monro and Paul Booth) tried to downgrade the severity of the data breach in such a way that their “investigation” findings bore little similarity to the data/information revealed in court by the defendant’s barrister.

Neither did the ICOdismiss the case” against BDL in relation to the data breach contrary to what Brentford Dock Ltd has told third parties.  The statement made Brentford Dock Ltd about the ICO dismissing the case against Brentford Dock Ltd is a lie, an intentional deception and a serious abuse of position.

When the ICO were informed of this claim by BDL, they wrote:

“It is our view that this is a representation of our decision, which is intended to downgrade its importance to the person being addressed. The ICO investigated the matter and adjudicated that there had been a Breach of confidentiality.  The ICO decided not to take any further action against BDL for the time being.”

One can only presume that this statement claiming that the ICO had dismissed the case was made/designed to cheat or trick others in order to persuade them to believe something that is not true.  This was one of many untrue statements made to and by the BDL board in this matter and the matter of the preceding antisocial behaviour.  Brentford Dock continue to mislead parties over residents data that they collect and hold.

The Brentford Dock board have also made untrue statements to the Information Commissioner’s Office – ICO.

The entire BDL board (listed below*), directors past and present, have been made aware of these matters via email and are refusing to respond.  Those elected after the 22 July 2017 should also have been made aware of the Brentford Dock Data Protection Act Breach.

The totality of this Brentford Dock Data Protection Act breach and BDL/Michael Richards & Company’s subsequent actions are still a matter of investigation by the victims.  The victims of crime and of the illegal breach of confidentiality/privacy believe that it is a public duty to inform Brentford Dock residents subjected to the regime (the Brentford Dock board, Veronica Wray, Mike Edwards and their managing agents Michael Richards & Company) managing Brentford Dock to be vigilant and careful in their dealings with the office/management on site, irrespective of whether you are a resident, tenant or a shareholder.  Residents should not be discriminated against for any reason.  In reality residents have no idea as to who is dealing with BDL resident’s data, their character, qualifications or their backgrounds.
